신평(전 한국헌법학회장) 변호사는 “2월26일 오후 2시 명동성당 앞 서울YWCA에서 출판기념회를 엽니다. 저서 『시골살이 두런두런』을 중심으로 하여, 보수가 지금 처한 위기의 상황을 돌아보고, 앞으로 나갈 방향을 의논할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.
신평 변호사는 “이 출판기념회가 구체적인 정치 메시지를 내는 행사가 아니라, ‘87년 체제’의 모순을 극복하여 새로운 시대의 질서를 수립하기 위한 뜻과 지혜를 모으는 장으로 자리매김 하기를 바란다”고 강조했다.
이 행사의 1부는, 1987년 체제’를 극복해나가는 전환기에서 보수의 이념이 할 수 있는, 해야 할 역할에 관해 여러 명사들의 강연(아래)으로 채워진다.

2부에서는 신평 변호사가 3명의 대담자와 함께 『시골살이 두런두런』 책 내용이 오늘의 사회에서 어떤 의미를 가질지 정답게 이야기를 나게된다. 청중의 질문도 허용된다.

Attorney Shin Pyeong, Book Launch Party for His Book, “Countryside Life, Durun Durun” - Reporter Park Jeong-dae
Attorney Shin Pyeong (former president of the Korean Constitutional Law Association) announced, “On February 26th at 2 PM, I will hold a book launch party at the Seoul YWCA in front of Myeongdong Cathedral. With my book, “Countryside Life, Durun Durun,” as the center, I plan to look back on the current crisis that conservatives are facing and discuss the direction they should take going forward.”
Attorney Shin Pyeong emphasized, “I hope that this book launch party will not be an event that delivers a specific political message, but rather a place to gather the will and wisdom to overcome the contradictions of the ‘87 regime’ and establish a new order for the era.”
Part 1 of this event will be filled with lectures by various prominent figures (below) on the role that conservative ideology can and should play in the transition period of overcoming the ‘1987 regime.’
