이날 입학식에는 2025학년도 신입생을 비롯해 학교법인 동국대학교 이사장 돈관스님, 윤재웅 동국대학교 총장, 류완하 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 총장, 교수 및 직원, 학부모 등 많은 내빈이 참석했다.
이번 입학식에서는 박주현 의예과 신입생이 올해의 최우수입학자로 선정되어 입학 최우수 장학금을 받는 영예를 안았다.
윤재웅 동국대 총장은 "동국의 이름으로 여러분의 입학을 진심으로 축하하며, 나날이 새롭고 또 새로워지려는 마음의 다짐과 실천을 통해 여러분의 가치를 높이고 꿈을 이루기 위한 길을 개척해 나가길 바란다"고 축하의 말을 전했다.
학교법인 동국대학교 이사장 돈관스님은 "동국대학교는 유구한 역사를 쌓아올린 명문사학으로, 부처님의 말씀과 건학이념에 따라 눈부신 발전을 이루었다"며, "세상을 바라보는 시야를 넓히고 냉철한 사고력을 기르며, 훌륭한 스승과 학문을 접하며 미래를 위한 중요한 자산을 만들어가라"고 격려했다.

주진희 동문은 축사에서 "여러분의 시간과 체력, 대학에서의 경험을 소중히 여기고, 새로운 것을 두려워하지 말고 상처받는 것도 겁내지 않는 후회 없는 대학생활을 하시길 바란다"고 조언했다.
문선배 동국대학교 총동창회장은 "신입생 여러분들의 입학을 진심으로 축하하며, 끊임없는 노력으로 자신을 주인공으로 만들기 기원한다"며, "총동창회는 여러분의 꿈에 날개를 달아주기 위해 35만 동문과 함께 힘껏 응원하겠다"고 말했다.
주낙영 경주시장은 "동국대 WISE캠퍼스 신입생 여러분의 입학을 축하드리며, 경주와 함께 성장해온 동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 지역과 상생 발전하는 동반자로 함께 미래로 나아가고 있다"며, "경주시는 앞으로도 지속적으로 동국대 WISE캠퍼스와 협력하도록 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.
한편, 동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 입학식 후 각 단과대학별로 오리엔테이션을 진행하며, 수강신청 방법, 학사 제도, 장학, 국제교류 등 다양한 학생 지원 프로그램을 안내했다.
