세종특별자치시교육청이 올해 2월 응급처치 전문강사단을 모집하여 3월부터 10월까지 학교를 방문해 교직원을 대상으로 심폐소생술 등 응급처치 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
학교에서는 「학교보건법」에 따라 매년 교직원을 대상으로 응급처치 교육을 실시하고 있으며, 모든 교직원은 이 교육을 이수해야 한다.
이에 따라 세종시교육청은 학교의 업무 부담을 줄이고 강의의 질을 높이기 위해 전문강사단을 구성하여 희망 학교에 응급처치 교육 강사를 지원할 예정이다.
지원 대상은 총 128개 학교로, 유치원 29교, 초등학교 54교, 중학교 25교, 고등학교 18교, 특수 및 각종학교 3교가 포함된다.
교육의 주요 내용은 기본(성인·소아) 심폐소생술 ,자동심장충격기(AED) 사용법 및 실습 ,학교급별 특성에 맞는 응급처치 등이다.
전문강사단은 공모를 통해 10팀 내외로 선정되며, 주된 강사의 자격 요건은 ,의사 ,응급처치와 관련된 자격을 소지한 간호사 ,응급의료 또는 구조·구급 분야에서 5년 이상 종사한 응급구조사로 설정된다.
최교진 교육감은 “응급상황에서 교직원이 심폐소생술을 실시할 수 있다면 우리 아이들의 생명을 구할 가능성이 높아진다”며, “응급처치 교육을 통해 위급한 상황에서 학생 안전을 최우선으로 침착하게 대응하는 역량이 강화될 것이라 기대된다”고 말했다.
