부여군, 학교폭력 예방과 피해자 보호 강화 나선다

충남 부여군이 학교폭력 예방과 피해 학생 보호를 위한 대책 마련에 나섰다.

부여군은 지난 24일 군청 서동브리핑실에서 박정현 군수 주재로 ‘학교폭력 대책 마련 간담회’를 열고, 피해 학생들의 학습권 보장과 안전한 교육환경 조성을 위한 방안을 논의했다고 25일 밝혔다.

앞서 부여군은 2월 14일 학교폭력대책 지역협의회를 개최해 피해 학생 보호를 위한 선제적 조치를 검토했다. 또한 교육청과 도 의회 등에 학교폭력 피해자의 지속적인 보호를 촉구하는 건의문을 전달하고, 조례 개정을 통해 군민이 학교폭력 예방 활동에 적극 참여할 수 있도록 ‘군민의 책무’ 조항을 신설할 계획이다.

이번 간담회에는 부여군학부모협의회, 부여군학교운영위원장협의회 등이 함께 참여해 피해 학생이 안심하고 학교생활을 이어갈 수 있도록 실질적인 지원책을 모색했다. 특히 추가 피해 방지를 위한 대응 방안과 학습권 보장을 위한 구체적인 방안이 집중적으로 논의됐다.
