브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 헌법재판소에서 윤석열 대통령 탄핵 심판의 모든 변론이 마무리 된 가운데 윤 대통령 탄핵을 '인용'해야 한다는 의견은 54%, '기각' 의견은 38%라는 여론조사 결과가 27일 나왔다.
엠브레인퍼블릭·케이스탯리서치·코리아리서치·한국리서치 등 여론조사 업체 4사가 지난 24~26일(2월 4주) 만 18세 이상 남녀 1001명을 대상으로 한 '전국지표조사(NBS)'에 따르면 '탄핵을 인용해 파면해야 한다' 54%, '탄핵을 기각해 직무에 복귀시켜야 한다' 38%로 나타났다. 모름·무응답은 7%였다.
더불어민주당과 조국혁신당 지지층에서는 '탄핵 인용' 응답이 각각 95%, 97%로 높게 나온 반면, 국민의힘 지지층에서는 '탄핵 기각' 의견이 87%로 가장 많았다.
중도층에서도 탄핵 인용해야 한다는 의견이 65%로 많았으나, 보수층에서는 '탄핵 기각' 의견이 71%로 높았다.
개인 판단을 배제하고 헌재가 어떤 결정을 내릴 것인지 예상해달라는 질의에서는 '탄핵을 인용해 파면할 것'이라는 응답이 64%로 '탄핵을 기각해 직무에 복귀시킬 것'이라는 응답 28%보다 36%포인트 많았다.
아울러 헌재의 탄핵 심판 과정에 대해 '신뢰한다'는 긍정 인식은 52%, '신뢰하지 않는다'는 부정 인식은 44%로 큰 격차가 나지 않았다.
이와 함께 윤석열 대통령이 탄핵심판에 잘 대응했다는 긍정 평가는 37%, '잘못하고 있다'는 응답은 56%로 집계됐다.
