금산청소년미래센터, 청소년동아리 연합발대식 개최

충남 금산청소년미래센터는 지난 27일 센터 내 다목적강당에서 ‘2024년 청소년동아리 연합발대식’을 열고 본격적인 활동을 시작했다.

이번 발대식은 금산군청소년수련관의 청소년동아리 연합발대식에 이어 진행된 행사로, 지역 내 청소년들에게 다양한 문화·예술·체육·봉사활동의 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

금산청소년미래센터는 2013년 청소년문화의집으로 개관한 이후 지역 청소년들을 위한 문화·예술·체험활동의 거점 역할을 해왔다. 올해 동아리 활동에는 총 40여 명의 청소년이 참여하며, ▲댄스(청미 스트릿) ▲밴드(youth) ▲스포츠(방카민턴) ▲봉사(모두떠) 등 4개 분야에서 활발한 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.

발대식에서는 동아리 인준서 수여를 비롯해 연간 운영계획 안내, 동아리별 정기회의 등이 진행됐다. 앞으로 이들은 청소년 행사 축하공연과 체험부스 운영, 자원봉사 등 다양한 활동을 통해 지역사회와 소통하며 성장할 기회를 갖게 된다.

청소년동아리 활동에 참여하는 한 학생은 본지와의 인터뷰에서 "학교에서는 연습할 공간도 부족하고 함께할 친구들을 찾기 어려웠는데, 센터에서 동아리 활동을 하면서 좋은 친구들도 만나고, 전문적인 지원도 받을 수 있게 돼 정말 좋다”며 기대감을 드러냈다.

금산군 관계자는 “청소년들이 동아리 활동을 통해 자신의 재능과 적성을 개발하고, 지역 축제 등 다양한 행사에 참여하면서 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
