당진시(시장 오성환)는 3월 한 달 동안 당진시에 주민등록을 둔 초중고 자녀를 대상으로 저소득층 자녀 교육비 지원 사업을 추진한다고 28일 밝혔다.
이번 교육비 지원은 기준 중위소득 50% 초과 ~ 70% 이하인 가구의 자녀에게 제공되며, 초등학생에게는 30만 원, 중학생에게는 40만 원, 고등학생에게는 50만 원의 학습 능력 개발비를 연 1회 이용권(바우처) 카드로 지급한다.
교육비 지원을 희망하는 학부모 또는 보호자는 3월 4일부터 3월 31일까지 거주지 소재 읍면동 행정복지센터에 방문하여 신청할 수 있으며, 시에서는 심사를 통해 지원 대상자를 최종 선정할 계획이다.
선정된 학생은 오는 7월 농협은행에서 이용권(바우처) 선불카드를 발급받아 입시·보습학원을 제외한 학원, 서점 등 등록된 업종에서 해당 금액을 사용할 수 있다.
