충남 서산시가 2026년 외부재원 확보 목표액을 6,500억 원으로 설정하고, 주요 현안 사업 추진을 위한 원동력 확보에 나섰다.
시는 2월 26일부터 28일까지 3일간 시청 부시장실에서 홍순광 서산시 부시장, 국장, 부서장 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 외부재원 확보 추진전략회의’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 회의에서는 내년 외부재원 목표액으로 2025년 외부재원 확보액 6,354억 원 대비 146억 원 증가한 6,500억 원을 설정했다.
회의 참석자들은 외부재원 확보가 필요한 신규 사업을 발굴하고, 현재 추진 중인 주요 현안 사업의 현황을 점검했다.
특히 주요 현안 사업으로는 ▲서산영덕간 고속도로 대산당진 구간 건설 ▲신재생에너지 융복합 지원 사업 ▲국립국악원 분원 서산 건립 등이 논의됐다.
또한 외부재원 확보 대상 신규 사업으로는 ▲수소도시 조성 ▲인공지능(AI)·사물인터넷(IoT) 기반 스마트시티 구축 ▲화물자동차 공영차고지 조성 등이 발굴됐다.
시는 이번 회의를 바탕으로 외부재원 확보 방안을 구체화하고, 이를 통해 다양한 분야에서 필요한 재원을 확보해 나갈 방침이다. 특히 정부 각 부처 및 지역 국회의원과의 협력 체계를 구축하고 강화할 계획이다.
