농협중앙회는 5일 중구 본관에서 '2024년 농업경제사업 대상' 시상식을 열었다고 밝혔다.
농협중앙회는 농가 경영비 절감과 농업 생산성 향상을 통해 '돈 버는 농업'을 구현하고자 농업경제사업 대상을 신설했다.
농협중앙회는 농가 실익 증대와 경제 사업 실적 등 지표를 기준으로 평가해, 우수한 성과를 낸 농협 11곳을 선정했다.
경남 함양농협이 대상을 수상했고 경기 양평농협과 강원 진부농협 등 10곳이 최우수상을 받았다.
강호동 농협중앙회장은 "농업경제사업을 더 활성화해 농업인의 실익을 극대화하고 '새로운 대한민국 농협'을 실현해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
