한울본부, 실버복지서비스 제공 및 어르신 일자리 창출 앞장

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 3월 6일 울진군과‘어르신 이불 빨래 무료 세탁장 구축 지원’을 위한 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

한울본부는 울진군 어르신의 생활환경 개선과 돌봄서비스 제공을 위한 이불빨래 무료 세탁장 2호점 구축에 3억 원을 지원할 예정이다. 2023년에 개점한 평해읍 1호점은 30명의 어르신을 채용하며 일자리 창출에도 기여했다.

이세용 한울본부장은“이불 빨래 무료 세탁장 구축을 통해 어르신들의 생활 부담을 덜어드릴 수 있어 다행이라고 생각하며, 앞으로도 세대별 맞춤형 지원으로 지역주민에게 따뜻하게 다가가도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
