[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난해 제105회 전국체전 주 개최지로서 공인 경기장을 활용해 스포츠마케팅 효과를 극대화하고 있다.
지난 전국체전 때 김해서 열린 조정과 육상 경기장은 전국대회 공인을 받은 곳으로 특히 김해종합운동장은 경남 지자체 중 유일하게 국제공인 Class-1(클래스 원) 인증을 획득했다.
Class-1은 세계육상연맹에서 부여하는 최고 등급으로, 이 경기장에서 수립된 기록은 세계기록으로 공식 인정된다.
이러한 스포츠 인프라를 기반으로 오는 4월 김해서 국내 최대 규모 육상과 조정대회가 개최된다.
다음 달 1~3일 3일간 김해종합운동장에서 열리는 2025 김해 KTFL 전국실업육상경기대회는 국내 최대 규모 실업 육상대회이다.
대회는 한국실업육상연맹·한국대학육상연맹 주최, 경남육상연맹·김해시육상연맹 공동 주관, 경남도, 김해시, 김해시의회, 김해시체육회 후원으로 진행된다.
이번 대회에는 대학부, 일반부(실업팀) 선수 1,200여 명과 임원, 코치, 관계자 500여 명 등 총 1,700여 명이 참가할 예정이다.
총 47개 종목이 진행되며 남자부 23종목, 여자부 23종목, 남녀 혼성 1종목이다. 개최지 김해에서는 김해시도시개발공사 육상단이 시와 공사의 명예를 걸고 출전한다.
이어 4월 5~7일 3일간 대동생태체육공원 낙동강 수상레저시설에서 제67회 전국조정선수권대회가 대한조정협회 주최, 경남조정협회·김해시조정협회 공동 주관, 김해시 및 대동면, 김해시체육회 후원으로 개최된다.
이 대회는 국내 최대 규모 조정대회로 중등부, 고등부, 대학부, 일반부 선수와 관계자 등 1,000여 명이 참가할 것으로 예상된다. 총 37개 종목으로 남자부 23종목, 여자부 14종목이다. 개최지 김해에서는 인제대학교가 시와 학교의 명예를 걸고 출전한다.
