한중도시우호협회(회장 권기식)는 3월19일 보도자료에서 “한중도시우호협회는 3월19일 오후 전남 함평군청 회의실에서 함평군(군수 이상익)과 한중 교류 및 함평군 농특산품 수출 판로 개 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.”고 알렸다. 이 협약식에는 구징치(顧景奇) 주광주 중국총영사가 참석했다. 양측은 한중 지방정부 교류와 경제ㆍ문화ㆍ청소년 교류를 위해 협력하기로 했다. 협약식 후 권기식 회장은 이상익 함평군수에게 협회 자문위원 위촉장을 전달했다.

권기식 회장은 "한중도시우호협회는 함평군과 중국의 교류와 협력을 적극 지원할 것"이라며 "함평군의 나비축제와 우수한 관광자원을 중국에 홍보하겠다"고 말했다.
이상익 군수는 "한중도시우호협회와 협력해 함평군의 대(對)중국 교류를 확대하겠다"라고 말했다.
구징치(顧景奇) 주광주 중국총영사는 "오늘 한중 교류를 위한 한중도시우호협회-함평군 업무협약식에 참석하게 돼 기쁘다"며 "주광주중국총영사관은 한중도시우호협회와 함평군의 중국 교류를 적극 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
이상익 군수는 오는 24일~28일 중국 촨(四川)성 청두(成都)시에서 열리는 국제식품박람회 행사에 참석할 예정이다.
한중도시우호협회는 한국 대구광역시와 서울시 금천구, 중국 지린(吉林)성 옌볜(延邊)조선족자치주정부, 훈춘(珲春)시 등 한중 20여개 지방정부들과 업무협약을 맺고 있다.

The Korea-China City Friendship Association (Chairman Kwon Ki-sik) announced in a press release on March 19 that "On the afternoon of March 19, the Korea-China City Friendship Association signed a business agreement with Hampyeong-gun (Governor Lee Sang-ik) for Korea-China exchange and export of Hampyeong-gun agricultural specialties in the conference room of the Hampyeong-gun Office in Jeollanam-do." The agreement ceremony was attended by Gu Jingqi, Consul General of China in Gwangju. The two sides agreed to cooperate for Korea-China local government exchanges and economic, cultural, and youth exchanges. After the agreement ceremony, Chairman Kwon Ki-sik presented Hampyeong-gun Mayor Lee Sang-ik with an appointment letter as an advisory committee member of the association.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik said, “The Korea-China Cities Friendship Association will actively support exchanges and cooperation between Hampyeong-gun and China,” and “We will promote Hampyeong-gun’s butterfly festival and excellent tourism resources to China.”
County Mayor Lee Sang-ik said, “We will cooperate with the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association to expand Hampyeong-gun’s exchanges with China.”
Consul General of China in Gwangju Gu Jingqi said, “I am glad to attend the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association-Hampyeong-gun business agreement ceremony for Korea-China exchanges today,” and “The Chinese Consulate General in Gwangju will actively support the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association and Hampyeong-gun’s exchanges with China.”
County Mayor Lee Sang-ik plans to attend the International Food Expo event held in Chengdu, China, from the 24th to the 28th. The Korea-China City Friendship Association has signed business agreements with approximately 20 local governments in Korea and China, including Daegu Metropolitan City in Korea, Geumcheon-gu in Seoul, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, and Hunchun City in China.
