ESG골든리더스 기업인 대상은 2020년 신설된 이후 사회적 가치와 경제적 성과를 동시에 달성한 중소·중견 기업의 혁신 사례를 집중 조명해왔다. 박창식 한국국제문화교류진흥원 원장은 시상식 준비 과정부터 참여해 후보 기업의 사업 모델 평가, 지속가능성 기준 검토 등에 전문가 자문을 제공하고 시상식에서 각 분야별 수상대상자들을 시상할 예정이다
서울예대 연극과 출신인 박창식 원장은 1986년부터 1993년까지 MBC 드라마제작국에서 PD로 일했다. SBS 프로덕션 제작 프로듀서, 김종학 프로덕션 대표이사 등을 맡으며 50여 편의 드라마를 제작했다. 1988년 드라마 ‘인간시장’으로 인연을 맺은 고(故) 김종학 PD와 함께 ‘여명의 눈동자’, ‘모래시계’ 등을 함께 만들며 한국 드라마 역사에 한 획을 그은 인물.
드라마 PD였던 박창식 원장이 콘텐츠산업 정책에 관심을 갖게 된 것은 제이콤(현 CJ ENM 전신)에 입사하면서부터다. 그는 “제이콤을 통해 드라마 외주시장을 만들고, 이후 김종학프로덕션으로 이 시장을 키우려고 노력했다”면서 “외주시장을 만들기 위해선 정책과 제도가 우선돼야 한다는 생각에 콘텐츠산업 정책 분야를 파고들었다”고 설명했다.

이번 시상식은 이솔아이템 김종선대표가 조직위원장을, 42회 황금촬영상 영화제 조직위원장을 맡았던 ㈜원코리아 미디컴 영화사 서혜정부회장이 조직부위원장역할을 맡았다.
