김해시립김영원미술관 전시시설 조성 착수

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 21일 시립김영원미술관 전시시설 조성 용역 착수보고회를 개최했다.

홍태용 시장을 비롯해 김해시 자문위원단, 용역 수행기관 관계자, 각 분야 전문가 등이 참석한 가운데 미술관 전시시설 조성 방향, 층별 배치 계획, 용역 일정 등에 대한 착수 보고와 자문위원의 질의답변 순으로 진행됐다.

김해시립김영원미술관은 △상설·기획·영상전시실 △세종대왕동상 원형 전시실 △미술체험공간 △수장고 △카페 △도서공간 △행사무대 등으로 구성된다. 김해시는 전시 관람의 공간을 넘어 시민의 일상으로 스며드는 복합문화공간이자 지역 랜드마크로 조성할 계획이다.

홍태용 시장은 “김해시립김영원미술관은 다양한 문화서비스를 제공하는 ‘문화 마중물’ 역할을 할 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.

김해시립김영원미술관은 연면적 5,760㎡(4개 층) 규모로 조성하며 내년 2월 미술관 시범 운영을 거쳐 3월 개관을 목표로 행정력을 모은다.
