브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 더불어민주당이 최상목 대통령 권한대행 부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관에 대한 탄핵소추안을 발의하며 윤석열 정권 내에서 탄핵을 30번 발의한 데 대해 "세계 최초, 세계 최고를 자랑하는 정당"이라고 조롱했다.
호준석 국민의힘 대변인은 22일 논평을 통해 "임기 3년이 안 된 정부에서 30번 탄핵이 발의된 것은 세계 민주주의 역사에 최초"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
호 대변인은 "민주당은 세계 최고의 탄핵 전문성을 갖고 있다. 탄핵 소추 기술을 수출할 수 있다면 불티가 났을 것"이라며 "세계 최고 탄핵 정당은 기어이 글로벌 통상 전쟁의 와중에 경제 수장까지 쫓아내기로 했다"고 꼬집었다.
이어 "형법 91조에 정의된 국헌 문란은 '헌법에 의하여 설치된 국가기관을 강압에 의해 전복 또는 그 권능행사를 불가능하게 하는 것'"이라며 "다수당의 강압으로 행정부 수반부터 일선 검사까지 권능행사를 불가능하게 했으니 완벽한 국헌 문란"이라고 지적했다.
또한 "대한민국 정부 수립 이래 75년간 21번이던 탄핵 발의가 지난 2년 반 동안 30번이었다. 20대 국회 상임위에서 7건에 불과했던 '일방 표결'이 민주당이 장악한 21대에는 64건, 22대에서는 벌써 117번"이라며 "민주당은 윤석열 대통령이 재의요구권을 30번 행사했다며 비난했지만, 최상목 권한대행이 한 달 동안 9번 재의요구권을 행사하면서 본질은 민주당의 '거부권 유도'였음이 입증됐다"고 강조했다.
그러면서 "'이재명 민주당'의 근본적인 문제는 국익보다 집권욕이 늘 우선이라는 것이다. 민주당 의원들은 이제라도 헌법기관의 양심을 가지고 글로벌 통상전쟁의 와중에 경제 수장의 손발을 묶는 자해극을 멈춰줄 것을 촉구한다"고 덧붙였다.
