헌법재판소 탄핵기각으로 87일 만에 직무 복귀한 한덕수 대통령 권한대행 국무총리가 24일 첫 업무로 전국적 산불 발생 대응 상황을 점검했다.
한 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사 중앙재난안전상황실 서울상황센터를 찾아 경남 산청·경북 의성·울산 울주 등 전국적으로 발생하는 산불 대응 상황을 확인했다.
한 대행은 행정안전부·산림청·소방청 등으로부터 현재 산불 진화 상황 관련 보고를 받은 후 "정부는 산불이 완전 진화될 때까지 기관 간 유기적 협력체계를 구축해 범정부적 총력 대응을 실시해야 한다"고 밝혔다.
그러면서 "이미 선포된 경남 산청지역 이외 경북 의성·울산 울주 등에 대한 특별재난지역도 신속 선포해 피해지역 주민들이 하루빨리 온전한 일상으로 복귀할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 전했다.
