이번 사업에는 총 5억5000만원의 예산을 투입해 관내 169개 어린이집의 7068명 아동에게 도내산 제철 과일을 제공한다.
이번 지원되는 과일은 1인당 120g의 농산물우수관리제도 인증을 받은 제철 과일로, 주 1~2회, 연간 45회에 걸쳐 진주시 먹거리통합지원센터를 통해 공급된다.
시는 올해 지원 단가가 지난해보다 500원이 인상해 1800원으로 책정해 더 다양한 품질 좋은 과일을 안정적으로 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
