태안군이 에너지 취약지역 주민들을 위해 중규모 LPG 배관망 구축 사업에 착수했다.
군은 국비 37억여 원을 포함해 총 74억 9279만 원의 사업비를 들여 안면읍 승언1리에 올해 말까지 배관망을 구축할 계획이다.
지난 24일 첫삽을 뜬 이 사업은 도시가스 미공급 지역의 읍면 단위 중심에 LPG 저장시설과 배관망을 설치하는 것으로, 산업통상자원부가 주관한다.
이번 사업은 2023년 예비타당성 심의를 통과한 후, 지난해 LPG 저장탱크 부지 선정 및 설계를 완료하고 착공에 들어갔다.
사업이 완료되면 승언1리의 700여 세대가 혜택을 받을 예정이다. 기존 LPG 용기의 개별 배송공급 방식과 달리, 집단공급 방식으로 가스요금이 약 30% 절감될 것으로 예상된다.
또한, 가스시설의 현대화로 미관이 개선되고 가스사고 예방 효과도 기대된다.
군은 하반기 내에 세대 내 보일러 설치를 완료하고 연말까지 LPG 공급을 마무리할 방침이다.
