충남 서산시가 어르신의 활기찬 노년 생활을 지원하기 위해 추진하는 노인 일자리 사업이 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
26일 시에 따르면, 올해 총사업비 176억 원을 투입해 역대 최대 인원인 4천167명의 어르신에게 맞춤형 일자리를 제공하고 있다.
노인 일자리 사업은 크게 공익활동형, 역량활용형, 공동체사업단의 세 가지 유형으로 나뉜다.
공익활동형은 주로 65세 이상 기초연금을 받는 어르신들이 환경정비와 교통안전 봉사 등 공익 활동에 참여하는 방식으로, 현재 2천874명이 활동 중이다.
이들은 하루 3시간의 공익 활동을 통해 월 29만 원의 급여를 받고 있으며, 동료들과의 소통으로 유대감을 형성하고 있다.
