브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넷마블은 31일 서울 구로구에 위치한 신사옥 지타워 컨벤션홀에서 제 14기 정기 주주총회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 주주총회에서는 연결 기준 매출 2조6638억원, 영업이익 2156억원 등 2024년 주요 경영 실적을 보고했으며, △재무제표 승인 △정관 일부 변경 △이사 및 감사위원회 위원 선임 △이사 보수한도 승인 등 총 6건의 의안이 모두 원안대로 가결됐다.
특히, 권영식 각자대표의 사임에 따라 김병규 단독대표 체제로 전환됐다. 권 대표는 신설된 ‘경영전략위원회’의 주요 의사결정자로 참여, 그간의 오랜 경험과 노하우를 바탕으로 넷마블 산하 개발사의 개발 역량강화와 넷마블 게임사업 전략에 기여할 예정이다.
각자대표에 오른 지 1년 만에 단독대표가 된 김병규 대표는 급변하는 대외환경에 보다 능동적으로 대응하는 한편, 재도약을 위한 회사의 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화하는데 집중한다.
이 밖에도 기타비상무이사로 텐센트게임즈 리나촨 사업개발총괄이 새롭게 선임됐으며, 임기가 만료된 이찬희 사외이사도 재선임됐다.
넷마블 김병규 대표는 주주총회 인사말을 통해 “2024년은 나 혼자만 레벨업:ARISE, 레이븐2 등 주요 신작의 성공적인 출시와 비용 효율화 효과가 본격화되며 매출 성장과 수익성 회복의 기틀을 마련한 의미있는 한 해였다”고 말했다.
이어 “올 해는 넷마블이 재도약을 이루는 중요한 변곡점의 시기”라며 “왕좌의 게임: 킹스로드, 일곱 개의 대죄: Origin 등 총 9종의 신작 출시를 통해 지속 가능한 수익 창출 기반을 마련하고 아울러 글로벌 시장에서의 입지를 한층 더 견고히 다질 것이다”고 덧붙였다.
