계룡시의회, 의원연구단체 운영 심사위원회 개최

충남 계룡시의회는 31일 다목적회의실에서 의원연구단체 운영 심사위원회를 열고, 올해 연구단체 등록 및 연구계획을 심의했다.

의원연구단체는 시정 발전과 정책 개발을 위해 관심 있는 분야별로 구성되며, 입법 정책 개발과 의정 활동 강화를 목적으로 한다. 이번 심사위원회에는 김범규 의장이 당연직 위원장을 맡았으며, 민간위원 3명과 의원연구단체 대표 의원 2명을 포함한 총 6명이 참석했다.

올해는 ▲계룡시 두마면 관광 허브 조성을 목표로 하는 ‘계룡시 두마면 관광 허브 활성화 연구회’(대표 이용권 의원) ▲체육 인프라 확충 및 경제 활성화를 위한 ‘계룡시 스포츠관광 및 경제활성화 연구회’(대표 신동원 의원) 등 2개의 연구단체가 신청했으며, 운영 심사위원회 심의를 거쳐 모두 승인됐다.

각 의원연구단체는 오는 4월부터 10월까지 자료 수집, 전문가 자문, 현장 조사 등을 진행하며, 실효성 있는 정책 제안을 목표로 연구활동을 추진해 나갈 예정이다. 

의원연구단체 대표 의원들은 "주어진 여건 속에서 연구 과제를 충실히 수행하고, 연구 결과가 지역 발전에 실질적으로 기여할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.

김범규 위원장은 “연구단체들이 지역 현안을 심도 있게 분석하고, 실질적인 정책 대안을 제시해 계룡시 발전과 지역경제 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 힘써 달라”고 당부했다.
