브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 스마일게이트에서 근무하는 남직원이 엘리베이터에서 여직원을 몰래 촬영한 것이 적발돼 검찰에 송치됐다.
1일 스마일게이트 등에 따르면 40대 남직원 A씨는 사내 엘리베이터에서 자신의 휴대폰으로 동료 여직원의 신체 일부를 몰래 촬영했다. 문제는 A씨의 전자기기에는 엘리베이터 뿐만 아니라, 업무공간 등에서도 다른 여성의 신체를 몰래 찍은 촬영물이 저장돼 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
현재 이 사건은 경기 성남 분당경찰서가 조사 중에 있으며, A씨에게는 성폭력처벌법 위반 혐의 등이 적용돼 있다.
이에 대해 스마일게이트 홍보실 관계자는 “(A씨의 범죄행위를) 회사에서 먼저 인지해 선조치로 경찰에 신고했다”며 “현재 판결을 기다리고 있는 중이다. 판결이 나오면 무관용 원칙 하에 중징계 할 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 해당 불법 촬영물들은 외부에 유출되지 않은 것으로 알려졌다.
