브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 권성동 국민의힘 원내대표는 2일 "헌법재판소의 윤석열 대통령 탄핵 선고를 앞두고 민주당의 집단 광기가 극에 달하고 있다"며 "이재명 대표는 ‘대통령 파면이 안 되면 유혈사태를 감당할 수 있겠느냐’며 공공연히 테러를 사주하고 있다"고 비판했다.
권성동 원내대표는 이날 오전 의원총회에서 "민주당 원내대표는 보수 성향 헌법재판관들의 이름을 거명하며 ‘을사오적’에 빗대어 겁박했고, 전직 원내대표는 탄핵이 기각되면 불복·저항 운동을 벌이자며 내란을 선동했다. 공당 지도부의 입에서 도저히 나올 수 없는 말들"이라고 지적했다.
이어 "지난 주말 민주당 초선 의원 70명이 김어준의 지령을 받고 이재명 대표의 승인을 받아 ‘국무위원 총탄핵’을 운운하며 무정부 상태를 만들겠다고 했다"며 "어제는 헌법재판관 임기를 마음대로 연장하는 법과 마은혁 강제 임명법까지 법사위 소위에서 강행 처리했다"고 주장했다.
또한 "오늘 민주당은 본회의에서 최상목 경제부총리 탄핵소추안을 보고할 예정인데, 이는 실익 없는 분풀이식 보복이자 다수당의 폭거"라며 "경제가 엄중한 상황에서 경제부총리를 탄핵하겠다는 것은 대한민국 경제에 대한 탄핵이자 테러"라고 강하게 비판했다.
권 원내대표는 "민주당은 조기 대선을 통해 이재명을 대통령에 앉혀 절대 권력을 누리겠다는 망상에 빠져 있다"며 "이를 위해 경제·외교·안보·사법부·헌재까지 모조리 탄핵하고 파괴하겠다는 태세인데, 이는 절대 용납할 수 없으며 국민도 용서하지 않을 것"이라고 경고했다.
