헌법재판소 탄핵 인용으로 파면된 윤석열 대통령이 4일 "많이 부족한 저를 지지해 주시고 응원해 주신 여러분께 깊이 감사드린다"고 입장문을 냈다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오후 변호인단을 통해 낸 150자 분량 입장문에서 "사랑하는 국민 여러분, 그동안 대한민국을 위해 일할 수 있어서 큰 영광이었다"며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "여러분의 기대에 부응하지 못해 너무나 안타깝고 죄송하다"며 "사랑하는 대한민국과 국민 여러분을 위해 늘 기도하겠다"고 글을 맺었다.
한편 윤 전 대통령 변호인단은 헌재 결정에 강하게 반발한 가운데 윤갑근 변호사는 "법리적으로 납득할 수 없는 결정"이라고 밝혔다.
