대전장애인단체총연합회(회장 문선우)와 엠스퀘어글로벌(주) 대전서구커뮤니티(대표 이재현)는 장애인 복지 향상과 사회서비스 체계 강화에 뜻을 모으고, 상호 협력하기 위한 업무협약을 8일 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 자원과 전문성을 바탕으로 실질적이고 지속 가능한 복지 모델을 공동으로 구축하고, 지역사회 내 장애인들이 보다 나은 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 장기적인 협력 체계를 마련하는 데 중점을 두고 추진되었다.
양측은 이번 MOU 체결을 계기로 기관 간의 상호 존중과 유기적인 연계를 통해 지역 장애인을 위한 다양한 복지 프로그램을 발굴하고 실행하는 데 협력할 예정이다. 특히 복지 사각지대 해소와 서비스 접근성 개선을 위한 공동 노력을 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
협약식에서 엠스퀘어글로벌(주) 대전서구커뮤니티 이재현 대표는 “형식적인 제휴를 넘어서, 지역사회와 함께 실질적인 변화를 만들어가는 동반자로서 책임감을 가지고 임하겠다”며, “앞으로도 장애인 복지 향상을 위한 다양한 사회적 역할을 주도적으로 수행할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
문선우 (사)대전장애인단체총연합회 회장 역시 “이번 협약은 지역 장애인들의 삶의 질을 실질적으로 개선할 수 있는 소중한 시작”이라며 “앞으로도 여러 기업들과 힘을 합쳐 실질적 지원이 가능하도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
