한중도시우호협회는 4월9일 보도자료에서 “권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 9일 오전 중국 상하이(上海)시 창닝(長寧)구 소재 안후이(安徽)성 상하이 대표처 사무소에서 안후이성 정부 관계자들과 한중 교류 간담회를 개최했다”고 알렸다.

이 자료에 따르면, 이 간담회에는 협회에서 권 회장과 리쥔융(李軍勇ㆍ변호사) 한중경제협력센터 상하이 센터장, 권완근 한중경제협력센터 사무국장, 류융춘(劉永春) 상하이 지회 비서장, 이경열 자문위원, 한흥석 전문위원 등이 참석했다. 안후이성에서는 양샤오린(楊小琳) 외사판공실 부주임, 리추화이(李秋淮) 상하이 대표처 부주임, 청화이쥔(程怀君) 외사판공실 우호도시처장, 뚀지룬(刁吉潤) 상하이 대표처 투자유치처장 등이 참석했다. 양측은 한국과 안후이성의 지방정부 교류와 경제ㆍ문화ㆍ청소년ㆍ농업ㆍ콘텐츠 교류 방안에 대해 논의했다.
권기식 회장은 "중국에서 역동적인 경제 성장을 하는 안후이성과 한국 지방정부들이 활발히 교류하도록 지원하겠다"며 "신라 왕족 출신의 김교각 지장왕보살의 불교 성지가 있는 안후이성과 한국 불교계가 활발히 교류를 하기 바란다"고 말했다.
양양샤오린 부주임은 "한중도시우호협회가 한국과 안후이성의 교류를 위해 협력해주기 바란다"라며 오는 6월 황산에서 개최되는 '2025 RECP 지방정부 협력 포럼'에 권 회장을 공식 초청했다.
권기식 회장은 이어 상하이시 홍커우(虹口)구 소재 협회 상하이 지회 사무실에서 열린 상하이 지회 개소식에 참석해 진티항(金惕行) 상하이 지회장, 리쥔융(李军勇) 한중경제협력센터 상하이센터장, 류융춘(刘永春) 상하이 지회 비서장, 진융(金勇) 한중문화교류센터 상하이 센터장, 탕페이(湯沸) 중국 법률자문위원(변호사) 등에게 임명장을 수여하고 오찬을 함께하며 한중 교류 방안을 논의했다. 권기식 회장은 상하이 일정을 마치고 하이난(海南)성 정부 초청으로 하이커우(海口)시를 방문해 성 정부 및 경제계 인사들과 만날 예정이다.

On April 9, the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association announced in a press release that “Kwon Ki-sik, Chairman of the Korea-China Cities Friendship Association, held a Korea-China exchange meeting with Anhui Provincial Government officials at the Anhui Provincial Shanghai Representative Office in Changning District, Shanghai, China on the morning of the 9th.”
According to the document, the meeting was attended by Chairman Kwon, Shanghai Center Director Li Jun-yong (attorney), Korea-China Economic Cooperation Center Office Director Kwon Wan-geun, Shanghai Branch Secretary Liu Yong-chun, Advisory Committee Member Lee Gyeong-yeol, and Expert Committee Member Han Heung-seok. Anhui Province was attended by Yang Xiaolin, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Li Qiuhuai, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Representative Office, Cheng Huaijun, Director of the Friendship City Office of the Foreign Affairs Office, and Dun Jirun, Director of the Investment Promotion Office of the Shanghai Representative Office. The two sides discussed local government exchanges between South Korea and Anhui Province, as well as economic, cultural, youth, agricultural, and content exchanges.
Chairman Kwon Ki-sik said, “I will support active exchanges between Anhui Province, which is experiencing dynamic economic growth in China, and South Korean local governments,” and “I hope that Anhui Province, which is home to the Buddhist holy site of Jijangwang Bodhisattva Kim Gyo-gak, a member of the royal family of Silla, and the Korean Buddhist community will actively engage in exchanges.”
Vice Minister Yang Yang Xiaolin said, "I hope that the Korea-China City Friendship Association will cooperate for the exchange between Korea and Anhui Province," and officially invited Chairman Kwon to the '2025 RECP Local Government Cooperation Forum' to be held in Huangshan in June. Chairman Kwon Ki-sik then attended the Shanghai branch opening ceremony held at the association's Shanghai branch office in Hongkou District, Shanghai, and presented letters of appointment to Jin Tihang, Shanghai branch director, Li Junyong, Shanghai Center Director of the Korea-China Economic Cooperation Center, Liu Yongchun, Shanghai branch secretary, Jin Yong, Shanghai Center Director of the Korea-China Cultural Exchange Center, and Tang Fei, Chinese legal advisor (lawyer), and discussed ways for Korea-China exchanges over lunch. After completing his schedule in Shanghai, Chairman Kwon Ki-sik will visit Haikou City at the invitation of the Hainan Provincial Government and meet with provincial government and economic figures.
