[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 홍태용 시장이 9일 자영업자의 소비 한파 극복을 위한 ‘경남 구석구석 여행하기’ 릴레이 캠페인에 참여했다.

캠페인은 경남부터 여행하기 분위기 확산으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 자영업자들을 돕기 위해서다.

김해시장은 박완수 경남지사의 지목을 받아 동참했으며 김해한옥체험관에서 릴레이 캠페인에 참여했다. 

홍 시장은 “따뜻한 봄날 사랑하는 가족, 친구들과 김해 구석구석을 여행하며 자영업자들도 함께 활짝 웃을 수 있기를 바란다”며 “소상공인에게 큰 힘이 되는 만큼 많은 시민들이 이번 캠페인에 적극적으로 동참해 주시길 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

이어 다음 주자로 나동연 양산시장과 노은식 김해상공회의소 회장, 최석철 김해문화관광재단 대표이사를 지목했다.

김해시는 홍 시장을 시작으로 출자출연기관, 공공기관, 단체 등 전 부문으로 확산해 워크숍, 각종 행사뿐만 아니라 동호회, 친목회, 휴가 도내 관광지 이용하기에 전 시민의 자발적인 동참을 유도한다.
