브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL이앤씨는 서울 중구 장충동 2가 일대에 들어설 ‘서울 장충동 플래그십 호텔개발사업’을 수주했다고 11일 밝혔다.
서울 장충동 플래그십 호텔개발사업은 파라다이스그룹이 ‘위버(uber·초프리미엄) 럭셔리’ 호텔을 목표로 추진하는 프로젝트다.
호텔은 1만3902㎡ 부지에 지하 5층~지상 18층 규모로, 189개 객실과 다양한 부대시설을 갖출 계획이다. 공사비는 약 3900억원이며, 2028년 8월 준공 예정이다.
DL이앤씨는 그동안 서울 종로 포시즌스 호텔과 여의도 콘래드 호텔을 비롯해 인천 영종도 그랜드하얏트 호텔 등 5성급 글로벌 브랜드 호텔을 성공적으로 시공한 바 있다. 이번 프로젝트를 통해 단순한 숙박 공간을 넘어 예술과 문화를 아우르는 새로운 도심 속 랜드마크를 구현하겠다는 구상이다.
DL이앤씨 관계자는 “서울 장충동 플래그십 호텔개발사업은 DL이앤씨의 하이엔드 건축 기술과 고품질 시공 역량을 집약해 선보일 수 있는 기회”라며 “서울을 대표하는 명품 호텔로 완성될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
