세종시의회가 주요 시설물 점검에 나섰다.
세종시의회 산업건설위원회 위원들은 11일 지난 2023년 집중호우로 피해가 발생한 세종합강캠핑장을 방문해 침수피해 대비현황을 점검했다.
합강캠핑장은 지난 2023년 집중호우로 인한 침수피해 복구·개선공사를 완료, 2024년 재개장한 바 있다.
점검에서 김학서 위원은 “캠핑장 운영의 공공성도 중요하지만, 적절한 수익 구조를 통해 선순환구조를 만들 수 있도록 노력할 것”을 당부했다.
김현옥 위원은 “2023년 침수피해 이후 화장실, 덤프스테이션, 워케이션 등 이용객 편의시설이 대폭 개선됐으며 이를 지속적으로 확충해 관리할 필요가 있다”고 했다.
최원석 부위원장은 “캠핑장 이용객 감면대상 확대 및 감면율 상승으로 수익성이 낮아질 수 없는 상황이다. 관내·외 이용객 비율 등의 면밀한 분석을 통해 명확한 운영방향 설정이 필요하다”고 말했다.
김재형 위원장은 “집중호우로 인한 침수피해 우려로 기존에 조성되고 사용하던 시설 등을 없애기보다 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 범위 내에서 이용가능한 환경을 조성해 줄 것”을 주문했다..
산건위 위원들은 양화취수장을 찾아 “해당 취수장은 제천과 방축천, 호수공원 등 신도심 내 주요 용수사용처에 양질의 용수를 원활하게 공급하기 위한 시설"이라며 "효율적인 운영방안을 마련할 수 있도록 함께 고민해 볼 것”이라며 의견을 모았다.
조성 중인 공공시설복합단지 점검에서 김현옥 위원은 “입주예정기업의 업종에 따라 부지 내 경사도, 접근성 등의 여건을 고려한 배치를 검토할 것”을 주문했다.
김학서 위원은 “시의 세수확보와 고용창출 등이 현실적으로 이루어질 수 있는 기업 유치를 통해 지역경제 선순환구조 등이 마련되어야 할 것”이라고 말했다.
안신일 위원은 “우수기업 입주 유치를 위해 입주업종 등을 합리적으로 조정하고 운영할 수 있도록 시와 의회에서 함께 고민할 필요가 있다”고 말했다.
최원석 부위원장은 “조성사업 준공에 앞서 사업 초기 단계부터 접촉한 기관과 기업 등을 상대로 적극적인 기업 유치 활동이 필요한 시기”라고 했다.
마지막으로 김재형 위원장은 “조성현황을 살펴보면 개발이 불가한 부지가 있는데 이에 대한 아쉬움이 있다"며 "공정관리를 철저히 해 적기에 준공될 수 있도록 해달라”고 당부했다.
한편, 산업건설위원회는 다가오는 4월 넷째 주 상하수도사업소와 세종일자리경제진흥원, 창조경제혁신센터 및 창업키움센터를 방문해 업무 추진현황을 점검하고 애로사항 등을 청취할 계획이다.
