브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 제주국제공항에서 이륙 직전인 에어서울 항공기의 비상구를 개방한 30대 여자 승객이 경찰에 붙잡혀 조사를 받고 있다.
15일 제주경찰청과 한국공항공사 제주공항 등에 따르면 경찰은 A(30대·여)씨를 항공보안법 위반 혐의로 붙잡아 조사를 진행 중이다.
A씨는 이날 오전 8시15분경 제주공항 유도로에서 이륙을 하던 김포행 에어서울 RS902편에 탑승해 비상구를 강제 개방한 혐의를 받고 있다.
A씨는 이날 비상구석에서 다소 떨어진 곳에 탑승해 있었으나, 항공기가 활주로로 이동하던 중 달려가서 비상문을 개방한 것으로 전해졌다.
비상구를 강제 개방하면서 비상 탈출 슬라이드가 지상으로 활짝 펼쳐졌고, 이에 승무원들은 A씨를 제지한 뒤 현행범으로 체포해 공항경찰대에 인계했다.
A씨는 경찰에게 "폐소공포증이 있는데 답답해서 문을 열었다"는 취지로 진술한 것으로 확인됐다.
폐소공포증은 좁고 밀폐된 공간에 있을 때 불안이나 공포를 느끼는 심리 상태로, 비행기나 지하철 등 좁은 곳에 들어가면 가슴이 답답하고 숨이 막히는 것 같은 공황 반응이 올 수 있다.
