충남 금산군이 국민 건강 보호와 인삼 유통 신뢰도 제고를 목표로 ‘안전인삼 유통체계’ 구축에 본격적으로 나섰다.
지난 16일 금산인삼약초산업진흥원에서는 금산군과 인삼 생산자, 유통업체, 제조업체, 금산군의회 관계자들이 한자리에 모여 '금산인삼 안전관리 공동협약'을 체결했다.
이번 협약을 통해 참여자들은 "생산 이력과 안전성 검사 결과가 확인되지 않은 인삼은 시장에 유통될 수 없다"는 원칙을 분명히 하고, 관련 절차를 철저히 이행하기로 약속했다.
협약 내용에 따르면, 생산자는 인삼 재배 예정지를 사전에 관리하고, 등록된 농약만을 사용해야 하며, 출하 시에는 경작확인서와 안전성 검사 결과를 반드시 첨부해야 한다. 유통업체는 검증된 안전관리 서류가 갖춰진 인삼만을 중개·판매하고, 제조업체는 검사 적합 판정을 받은 인삼만을 원료로 사용할 수 있다.
