대전맹학교, 같이 가치 ‘사랑 나눔 바자회’ 성료

대전맹학교(교장 문성준)는 지난 18일, 교육공동체가 함께한 ‘같이에 가치를 더한 사랑 나눔 바자회’를 성공적으로 마무리했다고 21일 밝혔다.

이번 바자회는 학생, 학부모, 교직원은 물론 지역사회가 함께 참여해 사회적 나눔을 실천하는 뜻깊은 행사로 진행되었으며, 장애인식 개선과 자원 재순환의 중요성을 일깨우는 계기가 되었다.

학교 교정에서 열린 바자회에서는 가정에서 기증한 물품들과 함께 학부모회가 정성껏 준비한 꽃, 컵과일, 타르트, 쿠키 등 다양한 간식과 수공예품이 전시 및 판매되었다.

또한, 학생들의 바리스타 교육을 위해 운영 중인 교내 카페 ‘해향’에서 직접 만든 음료도 판매돼 큰 호응을 얻었으며, 학생들이 만든 작품 전시와 악기 연주 공연도 부대 행사로 함께 열려 감동을 더했다.

4월 20일 장애인의 날을 앞두고, 더불어 살아가는 공동체 문화를 형성하고 행복한 나눔을 실천하고자 대전맹학교 학부모회가 기획한 이번 행사는 나눔을 통해 장애에 대한 사회적 인식을 개선하고, 학생들에게는 자원 재순환의 중요성을 배우는 계기를 마련했다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받고 있다.

특히 바자회를 통해 모인 수익금은 전액, 지역 내 소외된 이웃들에게 학부모회 이름으로 기부될 예정이다.
