경주시, 농작물재해보험료 90%까지 지원…“자연재해로부터 농가 지킨다”

이번 지원은 국비·도비 외에 시비를 추가로 투입해 기존 85%였던 보험료 지원 비율을 90%까지 확대한 것으로, 농업인의 자부담을 대폭 줄이는 효과가 기대된다.

농작물재해보험은 태풍, 집중호우, 우박, 조수해, 화재 등 자연재해로 인한 농작물 피해를 보장하며, 가입 대상 품목은 벼, 감자, 고구마, 옥수수 등 총 76개 품목이다. 농업경영체 등록을 완료한 농업인 또는 농업법인이면 지역 농협을 통해 가입할 수 있다.
