거창군자원봉사센터는 지난 20일 오전, 자원봉사자 20여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘우리동네 줍깅데이’를 실시하며 환경정화 활동을 펼쳤다.
‘우리동네 줍깅데이’는 깨끗한 환경을 만들기 위한 생활 속 실천운동으로, 자원봉사자의 친환경 활동 참여를 유도하고, 자원봉사 활동의 영역을 확장함으로써 지역사회 환경 개선에 기여하고자 추진됐다.
참여자들은 ‘산책하며 쓰레기를 줍자’는 슬로건 아래, 강변 1교 다리 밑 주차장 일원에서 가벼운 산책을 즐기며 쓰레기를 수거했다.
