충남 서산시가 급격히 늘어나는 빈집 문제를 체계적으로 관리하기 위해 11월까지 빈집 실태조사를 실시한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 한국부동산원과 협업해 전기·상수도 사용량 등 공공 데이터를 활용한 기초 분석과 현장 방문을 병행하는 방식으로 진행된다.
시는 사전에 빈집으로 추정된 768개소를 대상으로 현장 조사를 통해 실제 빈집 여부를 확인하고, 빈집 상태에 따라 1~3등급으로 분류할 계획이다.
빈집 등급은 1등급이 활용 가능한 빈집, 2등급은 정비가 필요한 대상, 3등급은 철거가 필요한 빈집으로 구분된다. 조사 기간 중 사전 조사에서 누락된 추가 빈집 의심 건물이 발견될 경우, 추가 조사를 통해 빈집 여부를 판단하고 등급을 산정한다. 이를 통해 보다 정확하고 포괄적인 빈집 현황 파악이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
