거창군은 지난 23일 미래농업복합교육관에서 거창녹색농업대학 입학식을 성황리 개최했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이날 입학식에는 신입생 83명이 참석했으며, 거창녹색농업대학 학장인 구인모 거창군수를 비롯해 이재운 거창군의회 의장 등 내빈이 함께 자리해 신입생들의 시작을 축하했다.
거창녹색농업대학은 과학영농 실천 능력을 갖춘 전문농업경영인 양성을 목표로 2009년 사과대학을 시작으로 현재까지 총 780명의 전문농업인을 배출해 왔다.
올해는 딸기학과와 블루베리학과가 개설되어, 현장 중심의 실습교육과 최신 농업기술을 접목한 이론 교육이 병행된다.
또한, 교육과정에는 농업인 농작업 안전재해 예방교육과 디지털 교육, 가공교육이 반영되어 있어 다양한 역량을 키울 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
