김해시는 지난 24일 인제대학교 글로컬대학 허브캠퍼스에서 청년정책협의체 위원 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 제6기 청년정책협의체 제2차 정기회의를 개최했다고 25일 밝혔다.
이날 정기회의에 앞서 6기 청년정책협의체 대표 슬로건 공모 시상과 전임 위원장에 대한 감사패 전달이 진행됐다.
이번 공모전은 김해시 청년정책협의체를 지역에 알리고 청년 참여 문화 확산을 위해 추진했으며 최우수상 1건, 우수상 2건, 장려상 1건을 선정해 시상했다.
6기 청년정책협의체는 최우수로 선정된 ‘청년의 희망이 현실이 되는 곳, 김해’란 슬로건처럼 청년이 살기 좋은 환경을 조성하고 청년들이 겪고 있는 다양한 사회문제를 해결하기 위해 위원 모두가 함께 노력할 것을 다짐했다.

김해시는 25일 김해학생체육관과 연지공원 일원에서 제24회 장애아동의 날 및 2025년 장애인권문화축제 기념행사를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 김해시장애인부모회(회장 정맹숙) 주관으로 장애인과 가족, 시민 등 300여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘차별 없는 사회, 함께하는 행복’이라는 슬로건 아래 장애인과 비장애인이 함께하는 화합과 공감의 장으로서 의미를 더했다.
특수교육 대상자 폭력 및 성폭력 예방 인형극이 이어져 위험 상황 대처 방법을 인형극을 통해 배우는 귀중한 시간이 됐다.
이와 함께 훨체어 장애인 건강증진 프로그램과 우드공예, 향수 만들기 체험 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공하는 체험·홍보 부스를 운영해 시민과 장애인이 함께 소통하고 즐기는 시간을 가졌다.
한편 시는 시·군 통합 30주년을 맞아 김해시민주간, 전국장애학생체육대회, 전국소년체육대회 등 다양한 행사를 통해 포용과 희망이 살아있는 글로컬 도시로 도약할 방침이다.

김해공예협회(회장 안미현)는 제21회 김해시 공예품대전에서 가람도예의 주은정 작가가 출품한 ‘쌍어문 이야기’를 대상에 선정했다고 25일 밝혔다.

올해 대회에는 지역 공예인들이 목·칠, 도자, 금속, 섬유, 종이, 기타 6개 부문에서 총 79점의 작품을 출품했으며, 전문가 심사를 거쳐 20명의 수상자(대상 1명, 금상 2명, 은상 2명, 동상 2명, 장려상 2명, 특선 4명, 입선 7명)가 결정됐다.
