【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 정원호)가 가정의 달 5월을 맞아 경주시 감포읍과 문무대왕면 경로당에 공기살균기 78대를 지원했다.

월성본부는 봄철 꽃가루와 먼지로 인한 호흡기 질환을 예방하고 어르신들에게 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위해 이번 사업을 추진했다고 밝혔다.
지원 물품 전달식은 4월 28일 경주시 문무대왕면 두산양지 경로당과 감포읍 나정1리 경로당에서 열렸다. 이날 행사에는 우추동 문무대왕면 이장협의회장과 전철호 감포읍 이장협의회장 등 지역 관계자들이 참석했으며, 월성본부 직원들도 함께 자리해 경로당 이용 어르신들과 새롭게 설치된 올인원 에어케어시스템을 직접 사용해보는 시간을 가졌다.
우추동 문무대왕면 이장협의회장은 "바닷가 지역 특성상 경로당 내부 습도가 높아 불편했는데, 월성본부의 지원으로 공기가 훨씬 쾌적해졌다"며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
정원호 월성원자력본부장은 "지역 주민들이 이용하는 공동생활 공간을 보다 쾌적하고 청결하게 만드는 데 기여하고자 한다"며 "앞으로도 지역 주민들의 건강 증진을 위해 지속적으로 지원해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
한편, 월성본부는 한수원 지원사업의 일환으로 감포읍, 문무대왕면, 양남면 경로당과 마을회관에 건강증진 물품을 꾸준히 지원해왔다. 감포읍에는 2022년 음식물처리기 42대, 2023년 세라젬 의료기기 21대를 지원했으며, 문무대왕면에는 2022년 안마의자 50대를, 양남면에는 2024년 공기살균기 39대를 지원했다. 올해에는 양남면 경로당에 추가로 안마의자를 지원할 계획이다.

Meanwhile, as part of the Hanwha support project, Wolseong Headquarters has consistently provided health promotion items to the senior centers and community centers in Gampo-eup, Munmu Daewang-myeon, and Yangnam-myeon. In 2022, 42 food waste disposers were provided to Gampo-eup, and in 2023, 21 Seragem medical devices were provided. In 2022, 50 massage chairs were provided to Munmu Daewang-myeon, and in 2024, 39 air sterilizers were provided to Yangnam-myeon. This year, additional massage chairs are planned to be provided to the Yangnam-myeon senior center.
