브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 대법원이 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보의 공직선거법 위반 사건에 대한 상고심을 5월 1일에 선고한다.
대법원은 29일 "오는 5월 1일 오후 3시 전원합의체에서 심리 중인 이 후보의 공직선거법 위반 사건의 판결선고기일을 지정했다"고 밝혔다.
대법원은 앞서 지난 22일 이 후보의 사건을 대법원 2부에 배당하고 주심을 박영재 대법관으로 지정한 뒤 당일 전원합의체에 회부한 바 있다.
한편, 이재명 후보는 지난 20대 대선 과정에서 있었던 방송사 인터뷰와 국정감사 등에서 대장동·백현동 개발사업 관련 의혹에 대해 허위 사실을 공표한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.
1심 재판부는 징역 1년에 집행유예 2년을 선고하며 유죄로 봤으나, 2심은 1심을 뒤집고 무죄를 선고했다.
이재명 후보는 지난 2020년 무죄를 선고받은 공직선거법 사건도 대법원 전원합의체에서 결론이 난 바 있다.

Supreme Court, Lee Jae-myung's 'Election Law Appeal Trial' Set for May 1st
