한덕수 대통령 권한대행 국무총리가 30일 "지금 우리 경제가 마주한 가장 큰 과제는 지속 가능한 성장동력 확보와 급변하는 글로벌 통상 환경에 대응하여 경쟁력을 지켜 나가는 것"이라고 밝혔다.
한 권한대행은 이날 오후 서울 영등포구 중소기업중앙회에서 '중소기업 규제혁신 현장소통 간담회'를 갖고 규제 혁신 당위성을 강조 하면서 중소기업 경쟁력 확보를 위한 불합리한 규제 개선을 약속했다.
그러면서 "우리 경제 근간은 바로 중소기업"이라며 "정부는 현장이 변화하고 체감할 수 있도록 결과 중심으로 규제혁신을 끊임없이 추진해 나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
이날 간담회는 트럼프발 경제 위기 속 우리 기업의 99% 고용 81%를 책임지는 중소기업 지원차 마련됐다.
중소기업계는 이 자리에서 공급망 재편에 대응한 리쇼어링 인정 범위 확대와 규제샌드박스 제도 개선·규제배심원제 도입을 통한 규제갈등 해소 등을 요청했다.
또 복잡한 정치상황·주52시간·최저임금·중대재해처벌법 등 노동3법 문제와 소비인구 감소에 따른 내수침체·통상전쟁에 따른 수출 부진을 타개할 수 있도록 규제 혁신에 힘써달라고 요청했다.
김기문 중기중앙회장은 "문제를 해결하기 위해선 국민이 안심할 수 있도록 국가가 빨리 안정을 찾고 대내외 리스크도 잘 관리해 기업이 경영에만 전념할 수 있도록 해야 한다고 생각한다"며 "기업 하는 사람들 대다수는 보수나 진보나 별로 큰 관심 없고, 국민에 희망 주고 중소기업을 위해 필요한 정책을 만드는 분을 응원하고 지지한다"고 했다.
