거창군은 각종 재난에 신속하고 체계적으로 대응하고 군민의 안전을 책임지는 재난안전상황실 및 통합관제센터를 총 228㎡ 규모로 확장하고, 최신 스마트 기술을 적용한 첨단 통합 안전관리 시스템을 본격 운영한다고 밝혔다.
군은 지난 1월부터는 재난상황관리 전담 인력을 배치하고, 재난안전상황실과 CCTV관제센터를 통합 운영함으로써 효율적인 상시 대응체계를 마련했다. 이번 시설 확장과 기능개선은 재난 발생 시 현장 상황을 신속히 파악하고, 유관기관과 신속하게 정보를 공유할 수 있는 공백없는 재난관리 체계 마련에 초점을 맞췄다.
주요 개선 사항으로는 △재난안전상황실 및 CCTV관제센터 통합 구축 △재난안전대책본부 확대 구축 △통합관제시스템 고도화 △인공지능(AI) 기반 영상분석시스템 증설 등이며, 통합관제의 효율성을 높이고, 신속한 재난 대응이 가능하도록 개편했다.
