충남 서천군이 첨단 방위산업과 수산식품 가공 분야의 유망 기업 두 곳과 총 400억 원 규모의 투자협약을 체결했다. 산업 구조를 다변화하고 안정적인 일자리를 확보하기 위한 전략적 행보다.

장항국가생태산단에 들어서는 방위산업 및 항공보안장비 분야의 기술혁신기업은 화학작용제 탐지장비를 생산하는 시설을 구축한다. 총 1만6546㎡ 부지에 2025년 10월 착공해 2027년 12월 완공을 목표로 하고 있으며, 총 투자액은 51억 원이다. 이 기업은 항공보안장비 시험인증센터와 협력해 기술 고도화와 제품 신뢰도 확보에도 주력할 계획이다. 신규 고용 인원은 20명이다.
