이날 본회의에 앞서 김항규 의원은 ‘관광 활성화를 위한 보문호의 다각적 활용과 관리’를 주제로 5분 자유발언을 통해 지역 관광자원의 전략적 활용 방안을 제안했다.
이번 임시회에서는 ▲2025년도 행정사무감사 계획서 승인 ▲2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획변경안 ▲5건의 의원발의 조례안을 포함한 총 9건의 조례안 ▲4건의 동의안 ▲1건의 의견청취안 ▲2건의 공유재산 관리계획 변경안 ▲위원 추천의 건 등 모두 20건의 안건에 대한 심의가 이뤄졌다.
심의 결과 「경주시 도시계획 조례 일부개정조례안」은 일부 수정되어 가결됐으며, 나머지 안건들은 원안대로 통과됐다.
이동협 의장은 “짧은 회기였지만 주요 예산안과 조례 등을 심도 있게 검토해 준 동료 의원들과 자료 준비에 최선을 다해주신 공직자 여러분께 감사드린다”며, “다가오는 APEC 정상회의 준비에 차질이 없도록 만전을 기해달라”고 당부했다.
한편, 경주시의회는 오는 6월 5일부터 제291회 제1차 정례회를 열고, 2025년도 행정사무감사 실시와 예산결산특별위원회 위원 선임 등 주요 안건을 다룰 예정이다.

Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop said, “Although it was a short session, I would like to thank my fellow council members who thoroughly reviewed the major budget bills and ordinances, and the public officials who did their best to prepare the materials,” and asked, “Please do your best so that there are no disruptions in the preparation for the upcoming APEC summit.”
Meanwhile, the Gyeongju City Council will hold the 291st 1st regular session on June 5 to discuss major agenda items such as the implementation of the 2025 administrative audit and the appointment of members of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee.
