제6회 김해시 장애인 및 비장애인 어울림 걷기대회

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 2일 제45주년 장애인의 날을 기념하여 연지공원에서 ‘제6회 김해시 장애인 및 비장애인 어울림 걷기대회’를 600여명의 시민들이 참가한 가운데 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 대회는 동화장애인 주간보호소 댄스 공연, 우리소리예술단 악기공연, 난타 퍼포먼스 식전행사를 시작으로, 플라잉디스크, 슐런, 터링, 콘홀 등 일반인에게는 다소 생소하지만 장애인들에게는 친숙한 생활체육 프로그램 등 각종 체험 및 홍보 부스를 운영하였다. 또한 달고나, 팝콘 등 먹거리 부스와 다양한 플리마켓를 추가 운영하여 행사참여자들에게 많은 호응을 받았다. 

올해 대회는 작년과 대비하여 참여 부스 및 체험활동들이 약 10개소 정도 추가되어, 참가 신청 인원뿐만 아니라 인근의 여러 시민들이 모두 함께 모여 장애인과 비장애인이 서로 배려하며 함께 즐길 수 있는 행사로 자리매김 하였다. 

홍태용 김해시장은 “장애인의 날을 되새기며 시민들이 모두 어울려 어울림 걷기 대회를 개최하게 되었다”며 “이번 대회를 통해 장애인과 비장애인 간에 서로 소통하고 다양성을 존중하는 사회를 만들어 가는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
