[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 경남경찰청은 2일 경남도청 잔디광장에서 어린이집 원아와 부모를 대상으로 경찰헬기 소개 및 지상탑승 체험행사를 가졌다.
이번 경찰 헬기 전시행사는 5일 어린이날을 앞두고 아이들의 꿈과 희망을 키우기 위해 평소 접하지 못하는 경찰 헬기를 가까이에서 보고, 조종사·정비사 직업진로 체험을 제공하기 위해 마련했다.
이날 행사는 경남경찰청, 경남도청, 김해서부경찰서 어린이집은 물론, 창원소재 어린이집 아이들과 교사 등 300여 명이 행사에 참여했으며, 아이들에게 경찰 참수리 헬기 종이 모형을 전달하고 헬기의 구조와 형태, 비행원리에 대해 설명했다.
한국화각협회에서도 다양한 소재의 서각, 화각작품 30여점 전시와 더불어 작가작품이 새겨있는 머그컵과 다양한 선물도 준비하여 이번 행사를 더욱 풍성하게 만들었으며, 어린이와 교사는 물론 경남경찰청 및 경남도청 직원들도 바쁜 일상을 잠시 접어두고 미술작품을 관람하면서 힐링하는 시간을 가졌다.
