한설 예비역 장군(육군 소장)은 지난 5월2일 인터넷 저널인 페이스북에 “ 완전한 파시스트 독재로 진입한 한국의 정치상황과 향후 대선전망”이라는 제목의 글을 게재했다.
한설 예비역 장군은 이 글에서 “현재 이재명이 취하는 행동은 혁명이 일어났을 때나 가능한 일이다. 혁명은 법이 없기 때문이다. 지금과 같은 상황에서 이재명의 행동은 명백한 파시스트 독재로의 완전한 진입을 의미한다. 이재명은 넘지 말아야 할 선(線)을 넘고 있다”고 지적했다.
이 글의 결론 부분에서는 “민주주의에서 대중의 다수가 지금과 같은 상황에도 불구하고 이재명을 대통령으로 선택하면 이를 저지할 방법은 없다. 민주주의는 절차일 뿐이고 제도의 내용을 담보하지 않는다. 이재명이 대통령이 되게 만드는 민주주의는 파시스트 민주주의라는 말이다. 히틀러도 민주주의 선거를 통해 집권했다. 현재 이재명의 집권과정은 히틀러의 집권과정과 놀라울 정도로 비슷하다. 이런 과정으로 권력을 잡으면 당연히 독재로 넘어간다. 그나마 인민의 의지가 제대로 반영되었다면 좌파적 성향으로 가야하는데 지금 이재명은 우클릭으로 넘어갔다. 그런 점에서도 히틀러와 놀라울 정도로 유사하다.”고 설명하면서 “이번에 이재명이 권력을 장악하면 5년으로 끝나지 않을 가능성이 매우 높다. 대중의 광기는 그 체제가 붕괴될 때까지 이어지는 경우가 많다”고 강조했다.
