‘Spring Melody for APEC 2025 – 봄을 연주하다’를 주제로 열리는 이번 공연은 따스한 봄날 경주를 찾은 시민과 관광객에게 클래식과 대중음악을 아우르는 다채로운 선율을 선사할 예정이다.
이날 무대에는 차이코프스키의 ‘꽃의 왈츠’, ‘백조의 호수’ 같은 클래식 명곡은 물론, 장범준의 ‘벚꽃엔딩’, 신문희의 ‘아름다운 나라’, 유리상자의 ‘아름다운 세상’, 비틀즈의 ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’ 등 친숙한 곡들이 연주되어 관객들과의 음악적 교감을 이끌어낼 전망이다.
공연은 별도의 예약 없이 누구나 자유롭게 관람 가능하며, 야외 공연 특성상 돗자리나 간이의자를 준비하면 보다 편안한 관람이 가능하다.
최연선 경주시 아동청소년과장은 “청소년 단원들이 오랜 시간 연습한 결과물을 선보이는 뜻깊은 무대인 만큼 많은 시민들이 함께 즐기며 따뜻한 봄을 음악과 함께 만끽하길 바란다”고 전했다.
경주시 청소년오케스트라는 지역 청소년들의 음악적 재능 발굴과 정서 함양을 목적으로 2010년 창단됐다. 올해는 이번 봄 버스킹을 시작으로 6월 국제교류 연주, 8월 여름 연주캠프, 10월 가을 버스킹 등 다양한 활동을 이어갈 계획이다.
