충남 태안군의회가 5월 7일 제311회 임시회를 열고 3일간의 회기 일정에 본격 돌입했다.
이번 임시회에서는 내년 행정사무감사 준비를 위한 특별위원회 구성과 함께 조례안 9건에 대한 심사가 예정돼 있어, 군정 전반에 대한 점검과 입법 기능이 강화될 것으로 기대된다.
초일에 열린 본회의에서는 2025년도 행정사무감사를 위한 특별위원회가 구성됐으며, 위원장에는 신경철 의원이 선임됐다. 위원회는 감사계획서 작성과 증인 채택 등의 절차를 거쳐, 내실 있는 감사가 이뤄질 수 있도록 준비 작업에 착수했다.
8일에는 박용성 부의장이 위원장을 맡은 조례심사특별위원회를 통해 총 9건의 조례안 및 규칙안이 다뤄질 예정이다.

개회사에서 전재옥 의장은 가정의 달을 맞아 “가족의 화목과 더불어 이웃에 대한 따뜻한 배려가 넘치는 5월이 되길 바란다”며 군민 모두의 평안을 기원했다. 아울러 최근 한국개발연구원(KDI)이 실시한 가로림만 해상교량 예비타당성조사 현장조사를 언급하며, “군민들의 오랜 숙원이 본격 추진될 수 있도록 집행부가 철저히 대응해 달라”고 당부했다.
또한, 봄철 농번기와 성어기를 맞아 농·어업인의 안전을 강조하며, “현장에서 체감할 수 있는 실효성 있는 지원 정책이 필요하다”며 군의 지속적인 노력을 촉구했다.

The Taean County Council in Chungcheongnam-do held its 311th extraordinary session on May 7 and began its three-day session in earnest.
