거창군 거창읍 지역사회보장협의체는 어버이날을 앞둔 지난 7일 관내 홀로 사는 어르신 37가구를 대상으로 카네이션과 찾아가는 나눔곳간 물품을 전달했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 거창읍 지역사회보장협의체 특화 사업으로, 지역사회보장협의체 위원 30명이 직접 어르신들의 가정을 방문하여 카네이션을 달아드리고 안부 인사를 전하는 시간을 가졌다.
한편, 이번 행사의 카네이션은 ㈜미림조경 김정수 대표의 후원으로 마련됐다. 김 대표는 2017년부터 매년 거창읍에 어버이날 카네이션을 꾸준히 후원하며 지역사회에서 지속적인 이웃사랑을 실천하고 있다.

제빵 교육은 지역 주민들의 재능을 나누고 봉사의 가치를 확산하기 위한 취지로 마련됐다. 교육은 총 6회기로 구성되어, 전문 제빵 강사의 지도로 다양한 빵을 직접 만드는 실습 중심으로 진행되었으며, 완성된 빵은 정성스럽게 포장한 뒤 ‘꾸러기 천사 점빵’을 통해 아동들에게 전달되었다.
거창군자원봉사센터는 지역사회의 지속가능한 봉사 문화를 조성하고 봉사활동의 전문성을 강화하기 위해 ‘전문자원봉사자 양성교육’을 운영하고 있다.
