충남 청양군이 지역 임산업의 경쟁력 제고를 위해 한국밤재배자협회 청양군지회와 손잡고 구체적인 실행 방안을 논의했다.
12일 청양군산림조합 회의실에서는 각 읍면 지회장들과 군 산림자원과 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 2025년도 밤 산업 육성 사업 방향과 전국단위 행사 준비 계획에 대한 협의가 이뤄졌다.
이날 회의에서 군은 오는 7월부터 본격 추진되는 ‘밤나무 해충 드론 방제 지원사업’에 대해 설명했다. 이 사업은 임업경영체로 등록된 임가를 대상으로 하며, 방제 비용의 80%는 보조금으로 지원하고 나머지 20%는 자부담으로 충당하게 된다.
방제는 7월과 8월 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이며, ha당 17만 원이 지원된다. 현재까지 519개 임가가 총 1,432ha 규모로 신청을 완료했으며, 군은 올해 전체 2,686ha에 대한 방제를 목표로 하고 있다.
산림소득분야 지원사업과 관련한 제도 변화도 안내됐다. 당초 2026년 1월로 예정돼 있던 국비 및 지방비 지원사업 신청 시기는 산림청의 일정 조정에 따라 2025년 7월로 앞당겨졌다. 이는 신청과 사업 집행 사이의 공백을 줄여 제때 사업을 추진하기 위한 조치다.
